Learn How to Fish!  What’s it all about?

Learn how to fish was created with one purpose in mind, to share my experiences and knowledge about fishing.  My name is Brian and I was taught how to fish over 30 years ago by my dad, probably the same as most other fisherman. I remember when I was learning how to fish and my dad constantly having to help me tackle up, usually due to me getting in a tangle or something along those lines, helping me plumb the depth, trying to convince me which was the correct float for the job.  But me being the ripe old age of 10, I knew which float was best, which was my LUCKY! float.

As time went on i found that learning how to fish correctly to get some degree of success took some practice and that my LUCKY float would not always come up with the goods.

Well here i am over 30 years later having learnt how to fish, well I’m better now than what I was, so that’s a definite improvement.  But like everyone learning how to fish, we don’t know it all.  I am a uk fisherman, but have fished in a number of different countries, so I will hopefully give you an insight into a lot of different aspect of fishing.
So whether you want to learn how to fish for catfish on the Ebro or how to fish for barbel on the Severn, I’m sure there will be something here to help make you trip a little more successful.

So to summarize what Learn How to Fish is for:

1.  For people who are new to the sport and need to know how to fish right from the start.

2. For people who know how to fish already, but are maybe looking at different styles of fishing.

3. For people who are experienced and looking for the extra little bit, that little tip or trick that will give them the edge in that important match, when all the points are needed or to catch that elusive specimen.

Learn how to fish aims to help people at all levels and abilities, with the one aim in mind.
